Back at home we were able to enjoy the cool October weather- the thermometer FINALLY dropped below 90!!!  Macie and I really enjoy playing in the yard together, and do quite well on our own.  One day while we were laying in the grass telling stories to one another, Mom, the paparrazi, jumped in to get a photograph.

Macie and I automatically stopped what we were doing and gave her some photo worthy facial poses:

It was nice going back to school after Fall Break.  Our first day back was a big deal, so Mom made us matching fall outfits and we posed in the garage before heading to school.

We had a BIG week at school- beginning with PUMPKIN PATCH DAY.  Mom came in and watched as the whole school sat together and read a pumpkin story.  Once the story was done all the classes lined up and searched for the perfect pumpkin.  Macie and the Sunshine room went first, and Macie chose the smallest pumpkin on the lot- boy was she proud!!!

Here she is with all her friends in the Sunshine Room:

After the Rainbow room, it was my turn.  Along with my friends in the Apple Room, we all picked out pumpkins to decorate.

Mom brought in a pumpkin decorating craft for my class, and stayed in our room to help us complete our masterpieces.   I chose to make my pumpkin into a cat, and Mom help me use pipe cleaners to make some crazy hair!

The rest of the week was filled with other fun activities.  Since Macie only goes to school on Mondays and Wednesdays, Mom made sure to make each day at home special.

Later on in the week Mom came back to school with me for my sharing day.  I got to choose my own outfit, as well as choose what object I wanted to share with my class.  I decided to bring in my snow leopard from the Ohio Zoo since I love it SO much!  Mom was especially impressed with Macie and my behavior that day- we were great sisters, and walked with one another all the way to class.

Here we are dropping Macie off in the Sunshine Room:

Mom can't believe how grown up she is.  She walks in and gets involved with all activities!!!

At the Apple Room I flashed a BIG smile to Mom, excited to have her at school with me!

Mom would sneak out of my room from time to time to check in on Macie- each time she did she found her engaged in another activity!

Shortly after mid month, the parties began!!!  At our first party we dressed as princesses and played outside at a garden tea pary!

Macie dressed in one of her Tinkerbelle outfits and had TONS of fun playing in the bubbles.

I chose to wear my princess dress that Mom made me!  I felt super fancy at the tea party, and LOVED all the girly things there were to do.

Later on in the week we got to play hookey from school to go to the Baby Boo Bash at gymnastics!!!  Mom wouldn't let us wear our Halloween costumes (since we were going to be jumping around on trampolines), so she let us choose our own princess dress.  Macie chose the purple dress Mom made, and I chose to wear my Daddy Daughter Dance dress again!

We were greeted at the door by Glenda the Good Witch, and posed for a picture!

When we walked inside we saw our friend Jen who was dressed as beautiful Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

Inside we had a blast running, jumping, and playing with friends.

We had a great time at the Boo Bash, and couldn't make for more Halloween Fun!

The next party was the Fall Fest at School.  We dressed  as princesses with Sophia and Reese and made our grand entrance together.

We spent most of our time in the jump houses, mazes, and slides.  After over an hour of constant play, we decided to slow down a bit and check out the petting zoo.

Macie was the most fascinated by the animals, and kept trying to catch them.

After sitting down for dinner we went to all of the different booths to play games and win prizes.  One of our favorite games was the Monster Bubble.  I was a little hesitant at first,

but after popping the bubble, couldn't stop laughing
!

On the way home Mom stopped at a booth and bought me a cotton candy for being so well behaved after a LONG day.

The next morning the whole family slept in, tired from a full night.  Macie and I occupied our time playing dress up with different props.  Here we are with silly mustaches.

In the afternoon both Macie and I put back on our princess dresses (we can't wait till Halloween to wear our real costumes) for the Halloween Spooktacular  at Lifetime.

They had all sorts of fun things for us to do.  After going in the haunted house a few times, we went outside to play games in the parking lot.  Both Macie and I enjoyed the tossing games.

When we had played all the games, and done most of the crafts, we spent some time in the bounce houses.

Mom loved watching as Macie jumped through the tiger's mouth- all you see in a bundle of tulle...

After a brief time out for some snacks with Dad,

we had our faces painted!

After getting all fancy, we joined the crowd in a dance:

Before heading home, we went to the pumpkin patch to choose a pumpkin to decorate.

Right as we finished, they announced a final game, so Mom and Dad let us stay for ONE MORE thing.  We were sure glad they did, because Macie got wrapped up like a mummy in toilet paper.  She sure was a good sport:

When the game was done Macie loved tearing everything apart!!!

By the time Sunday came our whole family was pooped.  We stayed close to home Saturday, and spent time with family.  Uncle Will, Aunt Hayley, and Uncle John, all joined us to carve pumpkins and eat dinner in the late afternoon.

After we feasted on pizza, we all dug into to the yummy holiday treats Mom made.  Aunt Hayley got pretty messy eating Mom's graveyard dessert, and started being silly- that led to this...

I wanted to join in the fun, so Mom took some pudding and smeared it in my mouth.

Don't we look lovely...

Macie also joined in the fun, but didn't need ANY help to get messy!

Next week is Halloween and we are SO excited- there will be SO many fun things to do!!! Not only do we get to wear our actual costumes (Mom let us CHOOSE OUR OWN Halloween costume theme for Mom to make this year), but we have a week full of parties and events.  Check back soon to see all the fun...
