Two More Weeks Till Summer...

Not much has changed over the last two weeks.  Presley is still as easy as can be.  She sleeps a lot, and is pleasant when awake.  Our whole family just adores her!!!

Because she is such a great baby we are able to get out and about.  After church we have been spending time with the Ketcham's, and got to have a picnic at their house with friends!

Macie and I are getting really good at driving the John Deere!

With only a few weeks of school left before summer Mom has been busy working on teacher gifts and projects for school.  Presley spent lots of time running errands around town with Mom.  It's a good thing she like her fancy car seat, because she had been in it a lot!

Thanks to Uncle Will, Macie and I have been able to do lots of fun things.  He has been taking us to the Train Park, the Science Center, and the Children's Museum.

Here we are at the Children's Museum one day after school.  First we had a picnic out front,

then we went shopping at the grocery store.

We worked up quite the appetite, so after shopping we made pizza and a salad.

We rode all sorts of cars,

and then took our tricycles through the car wash!

After running through the noodle forest,

we took a break to have some ice cream.

When we returned home after the Museum Presely greeted us with a smile (sort of).

Recently Mom and Dad have been finding Eddie in all sorts of places close to the baby.  He is fascinated by her, but doesn't want to get too close.  Often times he sleeps under her swing or bouncy chair, but one night Mom found him sleeping close to her in her crib, as much as she hated to admit it, it was pretty cute.

When the next weekend arrived we drove down to Enchanted Island for Graham's birthday party! Lots of Macie's friends from school were there and we all had a blast on the rides!

Once it got hot out, we all put on our baithing suits and played on the splash pad.   I got chased by all the boys. I don't know why the had SO much fun squirting me with water guns; couldn't be my reaction...

Macie loved standing under the bucket of water and getting wet.

After we were all done in the water it was time for cupcakes and ice cream!!!

Before the party ended we all took a ride on the train.

The party was a BLAST, and on the way out we all got our face painted.

Mom was grateful that Presley was an angel the whole time.

Back at home we cleaned up and got ready for Grandma Joanie to fly in from Wisconsin!!!

We had a fun weekend with Grandma Joanie, but on Monday we had to go back to school.  Macie was sad and wanted to stay home to play...

Macie turned her frown upside down when Mom brought out Presley for some pictures.

Riley was excited to go to school and bring her poster we made about all her favorite things!

At school that day Grandma Joanie and Mom go to attend the Mother's Day Tea.  Our classes sang songs and served treats we had made at school.

After our songs we gave our Mom's the gifts we made them:

During the week Grandma spent a lot of time snuggling with Presley.

One afternoon Grandma, Mom, and Will took Macie and I to the local library for the first time.

I love being able to read, and enjoyed picking out books on my own.

Presley was as interested in sitting in the library as Mom was...

For the remainder of the week that Grandma Joanie was with us, we played LOTS of games.  From cards, to Sorry and Chutes and Ladders.  Presley watched as we played.

When the week came to an end we were all sad that Grandma Joanie had to leave.  We were grateful she was able to come spend time with us, and we are sure she enjoyed her time with Presley.

Our whole family loves this baby to pieces; we just can't get enough of her.

Presley is growing up so fast.  She is becoming more alert and interactive, and we can't wait to see all the changes that will take place in the next few weeks.
