6 Months Old!!!

Wow- 6 Months Old...We can't believe how quickly time has gone by!

Presley continues to be such a wonderful blessing to our family.  She is always happy, always smiling, and everyone around her can't help but smile as well.  Presley has grown so much- in fact, she is about 16lbs!  She is in the 88 percentile for height and the 50th for weight- Mom can't believe she is the same size I was at 1 year old!  Aside from physical growth, she has continued to learn many new things.  She can roll all over the floor (we have to be very careful when we leave out our toys), she is close to sitting up on her own, and she is becoming more interested in baby food!  To celebrate her 6 month birthday Mom and Uncle Will had a photo shoot and here are some of our favorites:

As you can see, Mom is having way too much fun playing dress up!

Presley did remarkably well during all of the outfit changes.

According to Mom there is nothing better than holding her babies in her arms!

After a few outfits Presley started to get hungry, so we called it a wrap.

Macie helped Mom give Presley her bottle.  She has turned out to be such a wonderful big sister!

That night, at dinner, Presley sat at the table like a big girl.

She even tried to keep up with the conversation.

In case you were wondering, Macie is making all the additional noises- and Presley thinks she is hilarious!  After dinner she took a "bath."  It is BY FAR her favorite thing to do.  Mom is SO sad that she is getting to big to fit in sink...

Check her out as she tries to drink the water...

Happy 6 month birthday to our little blessing- we love you!

Back to a normal routine!

Back home in Arizona our family continued to get settled into the new house.  Dad spent lots of time in his office organizing all his gear.  When Mom needed a hand, Presley would sit and watch Dad work- they took lots of breaks to jam...

Poor Presley came back from California with a NASTY cold and cough, so Mom took her to the doctor to see what we needed to do for her.  Even while sick, Presley was full of smiles and laughter. As you can see, Presley just adores Macie and her antics:

I go to school 5 long days a week, and while I am at school, Macie keeps herself occupied by playing dress up- she is really into jewelry.

We both enjoy playing dress up with Presley- good thing she doesn't complain and is always happy to play along!

I am having an awesome time at school, and am learning a ton!  I love math, art, and reading, but also enjoy the morning fashion shows we have in the driveway!

Macie is also having an awesome time at school.  She loves the rainbow room and all of her preschool friends.  On Fridays she gets to bring an item for show and share, and her favorite thing to bring is her Pinkie Pie pony from Dad.

Some weeks she changes it up and brings her Angry bird...

Mom started sewing a little big again, and made Macie a new Angry Bird dress- Macie wents NUTS and wears it ALL THE TIME- Mom is going to make a few more!

On the days that Macie doesn't have school, her and Mom run errands with Presley in tow.  Macie takes good care of Presley and is a great BIG sister!

At home, the two of them enjoy playing outside now that the weather in Arizona is perfect for outdoor fun!  I wanted Presley to sit in my car with me, so Mom let me hold her long enough to take a picture.  After that, Mom had an idea...

Mom put Presley in her infant seat, and secured it in the car.  Presley had such a big smile on her face, that Mom decided I could take her for a spin around the yard.

 Presley LOVED it!!!

She is going to be such a dare devil- she already loves the trampoline!!!

Indoors, Presley is having fun "playing in her pond."  She is fascinated by all the toys around her!

Even with all the lights, colors, textures, and sounds at the pond, Presley is still much more fascinated by her sister Macie (who gets a little out of control)...

Presley just ADORES her!

With all the constant action, poor Presley sometimes hits a wall (believe it or not, but so does Uncle Will).

Since Presley is 5 months old, Mom decided it was time to try baby food...

The first feeding didn't go too well, but I don't know anyone that would be interested in rice cereal- YUCK!

After that, Mom decided to skip the cereal and go for the food.  Presley seemed uninterested,

and even less so once she tasted the food.

Mom keeps trying over and over, but still has yet to find something that doesn't make Presley cringe.

She seems to be the happiest once Mom stops trying to feed her...

Presley's favorite time of day is bath time!  She loves sitting in the sink while Mom cleans the kitchen after dinner.  Some may think its a little weird, but Presley just plays in the water and watches Mom with a BIG smile on her face.

I will say, it is difficult to catch Presley without a smile on her face.  She is the happiest baby ever!!!

Recently she discovered her tongue, so in the rare times when she is not smiling she is sticking out her tongue and making noises!

When she gets tired she stirs a bit and sticks her fingers in her mouth...

It drives Mom nuts, but it soothes her and puts her right to sleep.

It has been an exciting first month in our new house.  Despite having lots to do, we have managed to still have tons of fun.  I went to a few birthday parties and spent time with friends.

The most fun has been watching Presley grow and discover the world around her.  Her reaction to Eddie is priceless- she thinks he is fascinating and squeal with excitement every time she sees him!

With October around the corner, Mom is excited for Presley to turn 6 months!  Our family can't believe how quickly time has gone by, and how ABSOLUTELY amazing she is.  We thank God everyday for our happy, healthy baby sister!!!
