TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After Easter, Mom and I traveled to Utah to visit Mommy's friend Stephanie from High School.
Traveling was difficult for Mom, since she seems to be slowing down a bit, but I sure loved the new experience.

To keep me occupied, Mom suggested that I stare out the window and watch all the airplanes on the runway.

Little did she know I would turn it into my own personal jungle gym.

Of course I basked in all of the attention that I got from the crowd.

I did very well on the airplane, considering I DO NOT like to sit still for long. Luckily we sat next to some very kind people who helped keep me entertained.

We finally arrived in Utah, after what seemed like hours, and was exploding with anticipation. When we exited security Stephanie was waiting for us with my buddies Grant and Reed!!! I was so excited to see the two of them! Getting to the car was a challenge, but Miss Stephanie is an old pro at traveling with her hands full, and made it very easy for Mommy.

Once at the car we had to put my cat seat into the truck- what a site it was. Mom and Stephanie kept laughing at the three of us piled into the backseat.

We were still adjusting to the new surroundings, but it didn't take long for us to become fast friends. I realized how much more fun it is to have friends around all the time. I can't wait for my new baby sister to arrive so that we can always have each other.

When we got to their house I shrieked with excitement at all the toys they had to play with. One of my favorite activities was reading in the kitchen with Grant and Reed.

Our first bath time together was quite the experience- As if bath time wasn't fun enough already...

To top off the awesome bath time experience, Miss Stephanie even helped me sit on the potty and practice. Mom doesn't think I am ready, although I have been asking to sit on the big girl potty for quite some time. I didn't go to bathroom on the potty, but sure had a fun time practicing. Mom promised that when we got back home she would buy my my very own!!!

Waking up with 2 Buddies in the house was awesome! From the moment we woke up the three of us were non-stop!!!

The weather in Utah is much different from the weather in California, and because it was too cold to play outside we had to find indoor activities. I am so glad because we got to take a field trip to the aquarium!!!

There were all sorts of amazing fish to look at, but poor Mommy and Miss Stephanie had to watch as the three of us ran in different directions...

The next morning we woke up to 6 inches of snow in the yard!!! I was so excited that I had to run outside and play in it.

Mom and I built a snowman on the patio, but I didn't last long outside- it was TOO cold. (if you look down to my left on the ground you will see my snowman)

Sitting in the car with the boys became on of my favorite times. I was never lonely in the backseat, and ALWAYS had someone to laugh with.

Even taking trips to Costco was FUN with the twins. I loved sitting in the cart with Grant, and I loved that Miss Stephanie let us eat apples while we shopped.

Back at the house Mom and Miss Stephanie had us pose for some camera time- and Mom thought that getting a good shot of ONE baby was tough...

We couldn't sit still for long, so the photo shoot didn't last- but we sure had a good time.

To thank them for letting me stay at heir house and play with their toys I gave them BOTH big kisses!!!

I had such an amazing time with my new buddies, and can't wait to see them soon!!!

Easter Fun

The family woke up early on Easter morning with hopes of attending the sunrise service at church, when we found that poor Mommy was incredibly SICK. Dad made an executive decision and told Mom to get back in bed and rest. After a couple more hours of sleep the family got up and started preparing for the big day. At 9am the fun began with the Umbarger family coming over to celebrate.

Grandma Jean brought me a special Easter gift, and it kept me entertained for hours that day (and still does). Check out how happy I was when she gave it to me...

While I was parading around with my new toy, I got a special surprise. The Easter Bunny himself came over to deliver my Easter basket. As excited as I was, I have to admit that I was a little scared...

The Easter Bunny sensed that I was a little nervous, and told me that he would head outdoors and leave me another surprise on the front lawn. Once he left I lightened up and began to look through all the gifts he brought me.

Once I was done rummaging through my basket, Mom and Dad took me out front to see what the Bunny had left on the front lawn. I was thrilled when I discovered that the bunny had left eggs all over the front lawn for me to hunt!!!

I immediately grabbed my baskets and started placing eggs in them.

Hunting eggs turned out to be lots of fun.

I had a difficult time carrying both baskets, and kept looking for new ways to do it.

It was my FIRST Easter egg hunt after all...

Once I had found all of the eggs hidden on the front lawn I dug into the basket to find what treats were in there. As mom had promised, the Easter Bunny had hidden some of the dyed eggs Mom and I had made the night before, and she let me help her peel one open and eat it. Boy do I LOVE eggs!

After I scarfed down the egg, I started opening the plastic eggs to see what treasures lied within them. I cant say that I was thrilled when I discovered raisins, but I ate a couple anyway.

I quickly discarded the box (still more than half full) and dug into another egg. There I found one of the coolest accessories ever, a candy necklace. Not only did it look pretty on my neck, but I got to eat it too.

When I finally finished eating my treats I took a special Easter picture with the family.

The Bunny came by to say goodbye to me, and after many attempts by Mom to get me to sit with him, we bumped knuckles and said our goodbyes. I was sad that Dad was indoors while the Bunny stopped by, he sure would have enjoyed seeing him...

Tired from all the morning activities, our family spent the rest of the day relaxing and resting up. Poor Mom stayed in bed most of the day, so Dad and I got to spend some quality time together playing.

We continued our Easter celebration into the evening as friends and family came over to celebrate. I sure enjoyed having everyone around, but was glad that the bunny didn't come back. Maybe next year I'll be ready to sit with him all by myself, but we will see...

Happy Birthday Aunt Hayley!

Well, we tried...

Life has been great in Sunny San Diego!

Mom, Dad and I have been enjoying the wonderful weather and have been spending lots of time playing outdoors. One of my favorite things to do when the sun is shining is to go over to play at Grandma Judy's. You never know what fun and exciting things we will do, but they always make me laugh...

I can barely contain my excitement when Grandma Judy tells me its time to go play at the beach. Before she can even blink I am waiting at the front gate with my bucket in hand telling her to hurry up.

I love walking with her to the shore and telling her all about the castles we are going to make.

The last time we went to the beach Grandma Judy surprised me by making me a picnic!!!! It was great, we got to sit and watch the water as we ate our sammies.

After lunch was over I amused Grandma Judy by playing peek-a-boo with my bucket:

After peek-a-boo became stale I tried to walk a mile in Grandma Judy's shoes and discovered how difficult it really was:

Our days spent at the beach are tons of fun, and ALWAYS full of excitement.

Speaking of excitement, while Dad was visiting Columbus, Ohio Mom took me to Huntington Beach to visit our friends. It was great to see all my good buddies and tell them about the new things I have been experiencing in the last couple of months. While we were in Orange County Mom even took me to California Adventure!!! It was the first time I had been to the park, and I wanted to explore it all on my own. I even pushed the heavy stroller without help from anyone.

All the walking and pushing made me tired, so I found a seat and rested for a while.

California Adventure was a lot of fun, and I even go to see the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in person. I was sad that they didn't sing the "HotDog" song, but and I sang it afterwards together, and that satisfied me.

We did get to see another 4D movie about Bugs, and I got to wear these bug shades- check out how good I look:

Since it was a beautiful sunny day in the OC, Mom let me play around in the water. I was fascinated, and a little baffled by the sporadic bursts of water that would come and go.

I didn't really like getting my head wet, so I spent most of my time by the overflowing waterfalls.

Our day at California Adventure was fun, and I was a very good girl for Mommy! Back at Pa's house my buddies and I enjoyed the sun by going for rides in the front yard.

Unfortunately the wonderful weather didn't last long, and for the Easter Weekend the rains came. The cool part was that I got to wear my rain outfit to the Easter carnival. Mom was sad that it was too cold her special Bunny outfit, but I thought I looked pretty good anyway.

There were all sorts of things to do at the carnival, but I spent most of my time playing with all the animals in the petting zoo. I was very gentle with the animals, and Mom was very impressed.

I was able to hold a little bunny "nice and tight" so that I wouldn't drop him. I think she felt safe in my arms.

I made friends with the goats, as I quickly learned that they liked the kids who were feeding them hay.

The BIG ducks (geese) wanted nothing to do with me, but boy was I determined...

After the petting zoo, I got to ride a horse, ALL BY MYSELF!!!

Check out how well I did...

All the playing left me hungry, so Mom and I spent some time at the cookie booth decorating our very own Easter Bunny cookie. Mine was sure yummy!

Later that night we dyed some Easter Eggs to leave for the Bunny, and I had to taste one to make sure they weren't poisonous( Boy, do I LOVE eggs).

I did a fantastic job coloring the eggs, and know that the Easter Bunny is looking forward to hiding them for me in the morning!!!!
