Happy Valentines Day

Valentines Day was filled with fun this year!

Our family started the morning off eating heart shaped omelets and it only got better from there. After dressing in our kissing tutu's (they had lips all over them) we made sure to let Dad know just how much we loved him by showering him with hugs and kisses!!

After a few pictures Macie got restless and decided it was time to turn on the charm:

She still needs a little practice with her smile, so I showed her how I have perfected it:

Macie just laughed, and continued to do her own thing.

Between Mom (who hides from the camera) and Macie (who could care less about the camera) I guess I will have to step up and carry the family in the picture department; darn...

Our Valentines morning was amazing and my day at school was filled with love and hugs. At home in the evening our family celebrated the arrival of its newest addition, check back soon to find out details...

A Packers Victory, Slash, and Some REALLY Fast Cars!

After this past Sunday it became official: The Vince Lombardi Trophy came back home to Green Bay!!! Our family had a great time watching the Super Bowl at home, and thoroughly enjoyed the game. Aside from the victory, my favorite part of the afternoon was the halftime show. Seeing the Black Eyed Peas play was awesome, but the best part came when Slash rose through the stage and played Sweet Child of Mine. I sang and played air guitar with the rest of the family!

Later on in the week our friend Brian from Lifetime Fitness brought some race cars for Macie and I to sit in!!!

Check me out in the Lamborghini:

Macie really LOVES this car (kept saying Pitty Car), and felt at home in the driver's seat.

I didn't think it felt too bad either...

Macie and I had a blast climbing in and out of the car, pretending to be big girls. Dad watched from afar holding his breath, apparently we didn't grasp the concept of what we were playing around in (the car costs more than the average home). Our friend Brian and Mom couldn't stop laughing when I posed for this picture; Mom said it looked like I had a little too much fun and passed out in the drivers seat.

We had so much fun with the Lamborghini that Brian brought his Viper a couple days later. I loved the bright blue color, and jumped right behind the wheel without hesitation.

Macie rode shotgun for a while,

but decided that she was more of a Lambo girl...

I am not particular, but then again I told Mom I want a pink smart car when I can drive (she didn't seem too excited about my vehicle preference).

Before our photo shoot ended Macie and I posed on the back of the car like beauty queens, and I have to say, it felt pretty comfortable.

We are so grateful that our friend Brian let us hang out in his race cars, and was so patient with us divas!!!

All things considered, this week was pretty darn cool! The Packers won the Super Bowl, Slash play Sweet Child of Mine live, and Macie and I cruised in two AMAZING race cars! I hope next week can measure up...

A New Year

January got off to a slow start in our house as we didn't do much more than the usual. Mom continued to create our own entertainment through clothing, and after lots of begging (I have a BIG obsession with Toy Story 3) she finally made me a cowgirl outfit like Jessie. Though mine has a skirt and is pink, I think I make a pretty good lookin' cowgirl...

One of the big events of the year so far was my move from a crib to a big girl bed. For the past year I was insistent upon staying in a crib, but after my half birthday (I am now 3 1/2) I figured it was time. Here I am waking up in my a big girl bed for the first time!

Speaking of waking up, check out Macie and her "crow hair" when she wakes up in the morning...

I guess its a good thing that Macie cleans up well!

January didn't get exciting until Uncle Will came to town for a visit. He was one of the first visitors we had in the New Year, and it was really nice to see him again. Since Macie and I hadn't seen him in quite a while, we had a lot of catching up to do. We showed him our moves on the trampoline, and as much as he was impressed by my skills, he was more impressed by the static electricity which made my hair go wild.

The two of us showed off some musical skills we have recently picked up (thanks to our Christmas gifts). Listen to the sweet sounds of my harmonica and Macie's flute...

After a day at home we decided to take Will to the Phoenix Zoo to show him all of the cool animals here in Arizona.

It was great having someone else at the Zoo with us because I got to ride my big girl bike!

I felt sorry for Macie because she had to sit in the stroller, but it looked like she had a pretty good time.

We made all of our regular stops, introducing Will to all the animals. He really enjoyed feeding the giraffes!

I think Uncle Will's favorite thing was taking a Camel ride- can you believe it was his first time?!?!?

We all enjoyed our trip to the Zoo, but were tired from a full morning of fun so we went home to nap before gymnastics. By the time we returned back home in the evening it was time for dinner, so while Mom was in the kitchen cooking Uncle Will turned on some of our favorite music so that Macie and I could have a dance party. (Mom is having a tough time uploading the videos, but will post them here soon).

The next day we took Will to the train park! Everyone was looking forward to riding the train until I insisted that we ALL ride in the cattle car- a little uncomfortable for those larger than 3 feet. I am grateful that Will and Mom went along with my suggestion because it was tons of fun!

After the train ride we went on the Princess carousel (they actually play princess music during the ride!!!)

I hope that Will enjoyed his trip to Arizona because the three of us sure enjoyed his company!

The following day Mom took Macie and I to the park to burn some energy and we couldn't pry Macie off of the motorcycle:

A few days later Grandma Judy arrived! Because we had SO much fun the previous week, we decided to take Grandma Judy to the train park. This time we sat on a regular cart and Mom said it was much more comfortable.

Grandma Judy really enjoyed the princess carousel.

Grandma was only able to stay for a few days, but we made sure to fill the days with fun.

The following week the city of Phoenix was hosting the Open and the golf association put on an event for the kids called the Itty Bitty Open. I was so excited when the weekend came and Mom dressed me in the special outfit she made for the day. I didn't know that golf attire could be so stylish.

At the Open I got my very own set of golf clubs and was shown golf techniques from some famous golf professionals.

I had an amazing morning golfing and hanging out with my Dad!

The next couple of weeks we stayed pretty close to home as our family was hit with the cold bug. It started with Dad and cycled through the rest of us until it made its way through the family a second round. When we were finally well enough to leave the house we decided to go, you guessed it, to the train park!

This time Mom let Macie and I dress up in our princess dresses so that we could ride the train and carousel in style. We both practiced our smiles for the camera, but as Mom lamented, it never fails that the second one of us has a nice smile, the other will turn away from the camera.

We all agreed that taking individual shots was the way to go...

So far January 2011 was been pretty fun despite the illness that tried to keep us down. We are looking forward to the upcoming Super Bowl as well as finding out if Aunt Hayley will be moving to Arizona- keep your fingers crossed, I know I am!!!
