The week before Mother's Day, Mom went to school with Macie for a special Mother's Day Tea. Macie was such a polite little lady. She served Mom some tea and fresh cinnamon rolls that her and her classmates made themselves!
Her preschool class sang songs for the Moms, and then everyone gathered together to do activities. Macie and Mom made flower vases and bracelets and had a lot of fun!
After the indoor activities, they picked flowers in their garden, and played outside in the sunshine.
Mom was glad she was able to spend a special day with Macie!
Here is a video of Macie singing her song for Mom:
At the end of the week, Dad came home to surprise me for Dad's Day at school. I was so excited that I couldn't stop smiling! I even wore my "Dad outfit" complete with my rocker vest and converse.
They had a blast at school, and I took the afternoon off to spend some time around town with Dad. The family all got some much needed Dad time before he left for California Sunday night. It is hard having Dad gone, but we are starting to look for homes in California so that we can move out to be with him soon.
That next week I had my final Daisy Girl Scout meeting and pinning ceremony.
In the past few weeks Presley has really started to move. At gymnastics coach Taina helps her take steps on the balance beam and she loves it!
While Macie works on her flips,
Presley spends time jumping.
At home she practices taking steps on her own. Her is a video of her first steps:

Utensils are her favorite, although she gets more food on her face and the floor than in her mouth.
She also LOVES to listen to her classic children's songs, and has some pretty sweet dance moves:
By the beginning of May the weather in AZ got hot, and the pool started to get warm. Presley went in the pool, but is still unsure of the cold water. It won't take long for her to become a water baby like the rest of us.
We are looking forward to the month of May, as we have all sorts of fun things planned; end of school, outings, parties, and hours of pool time. Life will not be boring...
