We ran our regular errands, and made sure to help Mom with chores around the house.
With all the time at home it was apparent that Mom started "nesting" - she organized everything in our house, including the bows. Here is 1 of 3 closets we have for our hair pieces...
As Valentines Day started to get closer, our social calendar quickly became filled. Here we are at Lifetime helping to promote the Prince and Princess Ball. We greeted members in the halls and invited them to the dance- Dad was proud of our hard work!
As a reward, the family went to Frozen Yogurt- we have decided that working is well worth the reward!!!
The week of Valentines Day was great- we got to pick out our outfits everyday; all of which were inspired by the holiday.
Here is a picture of Macie at her Valentines pary at school. She had lots of fun handing out all her valentines!
After her party, we went to gymnastics, and I showed everyone how I can scale the rope without any help:
My party at school was the following day, and I was so excited after hearing how much fun Macie's was.
Mom stayed to watch me put all my valentines in our mailboxes,
but had to leave to take Macie to gymnastics. On their walk to the car Macie found some "treasures" and insisted Mom take some pictures of her finds.
At gymnastics Macie hammed it up:
and showed off some of her new skills...
On Friday we took a trip back to the Science Center, and had a blast playing with all the interactive exhibits.
On Sunday we drove down to Gilbert to visit with Aunt Hayley and Bugs- it was SO MUCH FUN! We each got to take turns riding him around the arena!
When Monday came it was back to business as usual; a week full of school, gymnastics, etc:
Mom couldn't stop commenting on how BIG and GROWN UP Macie has become- she walks, talks, and behaves just like a teenager...
At the end of the week we had finished all of our errands, so Mom took us back down to Aunt Hayley's to spend the afternoon. We insisted she take us back to the barn for more animal fun.
This time Aunt Hayley saddled up Bugs so that we could ride with her and go fast!
As you can see (and hear), we both loved it!!!!!!!
That night we ate dinner at Aunt Hayley's with some friends of hers and had a blast!!!!!!
The next day was the Prince and Princess Ball at the Lifetime in Scottsdale. Dad was out of town for the week, but Mom decided to take us for an evening of fun. We arrived early so that Mom could help set up for the dance, but both of us couldn't wait to put on our party dresses and hit the dance floor!
When it was FINALLY time, Mom dressed us and we entered the ball!!
The whole evening was a ton of fun- dancing, eating, crafts, playing...We even got to ride a horse drawn carriage!!!
On the dance floor I found some hula hoops, and discovered a new passion:
We were both very grateful that Mom took us to the ball- it will be tons of fun next year when we get to bring our new sister along!!!
I had so much fun that night, that I woke up bright and early, with my hula hoop in tow, and couldn't stop showing off my new skills...
